When Eddie was 8 years old his Grandfather gave him a guitar. It only took him four years to think it was cool. Slowly, Eddie taught himself to play. When he had gained some proficiency, he began to write songs.

Fast-forward a few decades and Eddie's life continues to be fundamentally the same. It is filled with songs just waiting for new melodies to bring them to life to share with others.

Music has been an integral part of Eddie's life for as long as he
can remember. At the age of 5 he sang "You Are My Sunshine"
for his Sunday School class for which his teacher paid him a nickle. "I was hooked and found my life's calling".
Eddie sees his current partnership with producer and close friend, Scott January as an incredible blessing. "I'm writing and recording some of my best work ever. Thank you Scott for believing in the music, your wise insight, and your friendship.

"I'm also incredibly blessed to be husband to my wonderful wife of more than 20 years, father to three sons, and proud papa to four amazing grandchildren. Thank you all for your unconditional love and unending support.

"I thank the Lord every day for the people He has introduced me to, and the paths He has led me down. I'm excited to see where He takes me next.
Eddie grew up listening to all kinds of music resulting in an eclectic taste when it comes to writing and composition. He leans on his love of jazz and country for songwriting, along with classical, big band and standards for much of his instrumental music. It is not unusual for Eddie to have various genres on one collection.

His second instrument is the trumpet, and though he does not allow the instrument near the time he does the guitar, it does show up occasionally on his recordings. "I really should put more time into my horn. Unfortunately, so much time passes between uses I have to recondition my lip every time I want to record with it".

Eddie will continue to defy being locked into a specific genre for his music. "I love exploring. It always amazes me how a tune will begin one way and for strange, unexplained reasons finish as something I never expected".

At Eddie's core is his faith. No matter what other forms of music he makes, or songs he writes, he will always include songs of praise, worship and inspiration. "I wouldn't have this amazing gift if God hadn't given it to me. It just stands to reason that I would make music for Him too".
